Mainframe software delivery is changing. As organizations modernize their development and DevOps practices, delivery pipelines are being asked to do more than automate builds, testing, and deployment. They increasingly need to support governance and security evidence, software supply chain integrity, AI-assisted workflows, and coordination across distributed and mainframe toolchains.
Guy Currier, Analyst at Futurum Group, and Vijayeendra Namasevi, AVP, R&D for BMC's AMI DevX and AMI Data at BMC, will discuss new research on the current state of mainframe software delivery: current priorities, barriers to progress, AI's emerging role, and the capabilities most likely to drive more intelligent, resilient, governed delivery.
What You'll Learn:
• The priorities organizations with mainframe environments cite most often in their delivery strategy today
• The barriers teams cite most often as limiting progress
• AI's current footprint across code, test, build, deploy, and security workflows
• The single hardest part of expanded delivery responsibility
• The capabilities teams expect to accelerate progress over the next 12 to 18 months
Who Should Attend:
• Mainframe development, DevOps, and release engineering leaders
• DevSecOps and software quality leaders
• Enterprise architects and platform engineering leaders
• IT leaders responsible for modernization, governance, and application delivery
