Beyond Microservices: Leveraging Containers for all Modern Applications

While popularized for running microservices, containers today have become the de facto way to deploy any application. And by using AWS serverless containers, organizations are able to easily deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications without the burden of provisioning and managing servers. In this talk we will discuss popular application architectures for containerized workloads deployed using Amazon Elastic Container Service and AWS Fargate serverless compute.
We will explore:
- How to deploy microservices, including web and API workloads
- Scaling message-driven workloads to meet peaks in demand
- Running short lived batch workloads with event-driven architectures
